a little bit about Tess....
My Name is Tess Hurlburt! I am an artist and designer based out of LA. I have a background in fine art, interior design, fabrication and construction and have worked on productions with Apple, HBO, WB, Fox, Hulu, Marvel and Peacock.
I absolutely love the use of visuals and textures as a tool in storytelling. To me, the beauty of production design is that it allows us to give viewers unique insight into the experiences of a character; hints and clues about their motivations and desires. With every project I work on, my goal is to create an environment that talent and camera can play in. I want to leave our audiences feeling like they know what it's like to exist in the same space as our characters; empathizing with the textures, sights and sounds we curated for them. I really am so excited and proud to do this work and I cannot wait for the next collaboration!
